A Mixed Experience at Dragon Express Lewisville - Hotel Review

As I stepped into the room, I couldn't help but notice the fresh smoke smell lingering in the air. At first, I thought it was just a minor issue, but as we explored further, things took a turn for the worse. One of the hotel employees had the audacity to tell us that the rooms may have a smoky odor because someone had smoked outside the window! When we brought this to the attention of the front desk, they simply thanked us for letting them know and did nothing about it.

To make matters worse, when we checked into our room, we were shocked to find that both rooms smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Needless to say, we had a terrible experience at Dragon Express Lewisville. However, despite this, I would consider staying here again if I return to Lewisville in the future.

One of the positives about this hotel is its convenient location. It's easy on and off the freeway, making it simple to find and get back on the road. Additionally, there are several places to eat nearby that seemed busy for a Wednesday night. The hotel also has an easy-to-use in-room refrigerator and microwave, as well as all the typical amenities you'd expect from a Holiday Inn Express.

Another perk was the spacious room, which had plenty of walking room. As a Priority Club member, I was even treated to a goodie bag with a water and chips - a nice touch! The front desk clerk was helpful and assisted me promptly when we arrived mid-day.

Overall, while our experience at Dragon Express Lewisville was marred by the issues with smoke smell, there were some redeeming qualities to the hotel. If you're looking for a convenient location and spacious rooms, this might be worth considering. Just keep in mind that they could improve on their landscaping and entrance driveway to make it feel more welcoming.
